These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Safeangelsapp.com ("Service," "we," "us," "our"), a personal safety check-in application. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Safeangelsapp.com lets you set a countdown safety timer. If you do not cancel the timer before it expires, Safeangelsapp.com sends an alert containing your name, optional message, and last known location to the emergency contacts you have added to your account.

2. NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE

Safeangelsapp.com is not a substitute for 911 or any emergency service. The Service does not contact police, fire, medical, or other public safety authorities. In a life-threatening situation, call your local emergency number immediately. Safeangelsapp.com depends on internet connectivity, your device's location services, and SMS/email delivery by third parties; delivery is not guaranteed.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information, including a valid phone number you control.

5. Emergency Contacts & Consent

By adding a person as an emergency contact, you represent that you have their permission to add their phone number and email, and to send them Safeangelsapp.com alerts and related messages on your behalf. You are solely responsible for keeping your contact list accurate.

6. SMS Messaging

The Service uses SMS via Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on user activity. Reply STOP to opt out of Safeangelsapp.com messages or HELP for help. Opting out of SMS will disable alert delivery to that number.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, stalk, or impersonate anyone.
• Trigger false alerts or misuse the alert system.
• Add phone numbers or emails without the owner's consent.
• Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALERTS WILL BE DELIVERED, TIMELY, OR ACTED UPON BY YOUR CONTACTS OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

11. Law Enforcement & Data Requests

Safeangelsapp.com is not integrated with police, 911, or any government monitoring system. We do not provide real-time or special access to user location data, alert records, circle tracking data, or account information to law enforcement or any other third party, except as required by law.

We may disclose user information if we receive a valid legal request — such as a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or other lawful order — or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users, the public, or Safeangelsapp.com. This includes information from circle-based tracking, such as shared location points, circle membership, and share history. When permitted by law, we will attempt to notify the affected user. We may challenge requests we consider invalid or overbroad.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFEANGELSAPP.COM AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safeangelsapp.com from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the alert system. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
