The SOS countdown timer

The big red button on the dashboard starts an SOS countdown. You can choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 hours, or set it to run continuously.

If you don't tap 'I'm safe' before the timer runs out, your emergency contacts get an alert by email and SMS with your last known GPS coordinates and a link to track you live.

The countdown is scheduled on the server, so it still fires even if your phone screen is off, the browser is in the background, or your battery dies.

Live GPS tracking

When a timer is active or an alert has fired, the app shares your GPS position with your contacts through a secure, token-protected link. They can open it on any phone or computer and see where you are in real time.

The map uses a heading-up, car-GPS-style view with a compass and distance readout, so someone following along can see which direction you're moving and how far you are from your destination.

Arrival Check-In

Arrival Check-In lets you tap a destination on the map — a school, mall, beach, friend's house, or hotel — and set the time you expect to be there.

Ask Angel is the built-in AI assistant. Tap the floating Ask button and ask safety questions in plain language — how to set a timer, what to do in a specific situation, or how a feature works. It answers in the context of the app.

Emergency contacts and delivery

You add contacts with both a mobile number and an email address. Email is the most reliable delivery channel because SMS can be filtered or delayed by carriers. The app sends both when possible and logs delivery status.

Contacts don't need to install anything. They receive a normal email and text with a link they can open in any browser.

False alarms and account care

You can cancel any alert with one tap if you're safe. The app also sends an 'I'm safe' link your contacts can see.

Because every SMS costs the service and emergency contacts' attention is limited, repeated false alarms can lead to a temporary suspension. The app warns you before that happens: 'Use it wisely — stop the timer when things are safe.'
